Bureau Veritas Steam Boiler

Bureau Veritas hunt out innovative ideas to maintain their market lead in international certification. They have a purpose built training centre in Peterborough and they recruit, train and manage a large team of inspectors on steam pressure systems from this location. Working together, we developed a HoloLens based engineering experience to simulate common and rare defects on steam pressure systems. Bureau Veritas have reduced the time needed to train staff from 5 days to 1.5 days using hologram based training developed in Scenaria.

PSP Immunotherapy

Plymouth Science Park (PSP) works in association with the University of Plymouth - including the teaching hospital and dental schools of Devon. As a hub of innovation and technology in education, PSP worked with us on a HoloLens project illustrating scientific progress of immunotherapy and how it relates to the treatment of lung cancer. The 3D holographic experience includes animation of the mode of action of drugs interacting with cancer cells as well as audio and video feeds to enhance the learning.

Kings College London sent us 3D intra-oral scans that we processed using Scenaria. We are currently developing a prototype training experience to facilitate small group, and distance learning training. We are improving the resolution of scans, providing quiz/testing around the teeth names, numbers and sextants of the mouth and also enabling discussions around the anatomical landmarks of the maxilla arch. The view is to develop a HoloLens based prototype to train undergraduate and post graduate students about partial denture design using Scenaria.

ISO tank training

Bureau Veritas asked us to prototype our ideas for a holographic simulation of a full size ISO tank to enable more convenient training for Carriage of Dangerous Goods qualifications as they sometimes don’t have access to ISO tanks in real life. The training was developed using Scenaria and starts with inspection of the data plate followed by a full external and internal inspection with exploded engineering components and embedded video.
